Mean = sum of observations/total number

Mean = 39/7

A Batsman scores 15, 115, 56, 78, 93, and 200 in his last 6 matches. Calculate the average of the score.

**Step 1:** Calculate the sum of the score of six innings.

Sum of the score = 15 + 115 + 56 + 78 + 93 + 200

Total innings = 6

**Step 2:** Take the formula of the mean and substitute the above values in it.

Mean = sum of the scores/total innings

Mean = 557/6

Mean = 92.84

Hence the average score of the batsmen is 92.84
